Drew Brees

Drew Brees is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the NFL. Brees was born in Dallas, Texas, and he began his career playing football in high school at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. He went on to play college football at Purdue where he set numerous records, won a Maxwell Award, a Bart Starr Award, won Academic All-Big Ten honors, was initiated into Mortar Board, was a two-time Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, awarded the Big Ten Medal of Honor and the NFF National Scholar-Athlete Award. Brees was then selected in the second round of the NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers where he played for 4 years before playing with the Saints. Over the course of his NFL career thus far, Brees has been a Super Bowl champion, a Super Bowl MVP, a 13-time Pro Bowl player, a first-team All-Pro, a four-time second-tea, All-Pro, a two-time NFL Offensive Player of the Year, an NFL Comeback Player of the Year, a seven-time NFL passing yards leader, a four-time NFL passing touchdowns leader, a two-time NFL passer rating leader, and a six-time NFL completion percentage leader. Brees has also been a Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year and Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year.
