Seal, born Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel on February 19, 1963, is a British singer and songwriter renowned for his distinctive voice, soulful performances, and diverse musical style that seamlessly blends elements of soul, R&B, pop, and rock. In 1991, he catapulted to international fame with the release of his self-titled debut album, "Seal," featuring the hit single "Crazy." After an appearance on Jeff Beck’s version of “Manic Depression” on a 1993 Jimi Hendrix tribute album, Seal returned to the studio to complete his second album, also entitled Seal, which was released in May of 1994. 

Sales of the album suddenly soared to multi-platinum levels in 1995 after the Grammy-winning single “Kiss From a Rose” appeared on the Batman Forever soundtrack and reached the top of the adult contemporary charts. The album also featured hits such as “Don’t Cry” and “Prayer For The Dying.” He has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and has been featured as a coach on The Voice Australia.
