Norah Jones

Norah Jones, born Geetali Norah Shankar on March 30, 1979, is an American singer, songwriter, and pianist. With her soulful voice and eclectic musical style, Jones has captivated audiences around the world, earning critical acclaim and multiple Grammy Awards.

Born in New York City to renowned Indian musician Ravi Shankar and concert producer Sue Jones, Norah's early exposure to music laid the foundation for her extraordinary talent. She grew up in a musically diverse environment, listening to everything from Indian classical music to jazz, folk, and blues.

Jones gained widespread recognition with the release of her debut album, "Come Away with Me," in 2002.
