Kid Rock

Kid Rock, born Robert James Ritchie on January 17, 1971, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor known for his eclectic blend of rock, hip hop, and country influences. Raised in Romeo, Michigan, Kid Rock's early exposure to music came from his father's car dealership, where he immersed himself in the diverse sounds of rock and country.

Kid Rock gained prominence in the late 1990s with his breakthrough album "Devil Without a Cause" (1998), which featured the hit singles "Bawitdaba," "Cowboy," and "Only God Knows Why." The album's fusion of rap, metal, and Southern rock showcased Kid Rock's versatility and set the stage for his distinctive musical style.

Over the years, Kid Rock continued to explore various genres, incorporating elements of country music into his repertoire. His 2001 album, "Cocky," spawned hits like "Picture," a duet with Sheryl Crow, showcasing his ability to seamlessly cross musical boundaries.

The rock, country, and blues musician is a five time Grammy Award nominee and has sold 23 million albums in the U.S. and 27 million worldwide. 

His first number one debuting album in 2007, Rock N Roll Jesus, featured hit single “So Hott.” With past hits like “American Bad Ass”, collaboration with Sheryl Crow on “Picture”, and “All Summer Long”, Kid Rock is going to take another stab at it with an entirely re-recorded re-release of Devil Without A Cause. 

This will be followed by a tour in 2013, highlighting musical tones in both the country and rap genres. Kid Rock has released a total of six Platinum albums in his exciting career.
