CeeLo Green

CeeLo Green, born Thomas DeCarlo Callaway on May 30, 1974, in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and actor. With his distinctive voice, dynamic stage presence, and eclectic musical style, Green has left an indelible mark on the music industry.

Green's journey in music began in the early 1990s when he formed the hip-hop group Goodie Mob, which garnered critical acclaim for their socially conscious lyrics and innovative sound. In the early 2000s, he ventured into a successful solo career, releasing his debut album, "Cee-Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections" in 2002, followed by the critically acclaimed "Cee-Lo Green... Is the Soul Machine" in 2004.

However, it was his collaboration with the production duo Gnarls Barkley, which brought him international recognition. Their hit single "Crazy" from the 2006 album "St. Elsewhere" topped music charts worldwide, solidifying Green's position as a versatile and captivating artist.

Among Cee-Lo’s solo hits are the singles “Closet Freak” (2002) and “I’ll Be Around” (2003), produced by and featuring Timbaland. As part of Gnarls Barkley he found success with the singles ‘Smiley Faces’ and ‘Crazy.’ His biggest solo hit to date is “Forget You”. He can currently be seen as a coach and judge on the smash NBC hit ‘The Voice.’
