Caitlin Clark, born January 22, 2002, in Des Moines, Iowa, is an American basketball sensation. A standout guard for the University of Iowa, she became the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer and was a two-time national player of the year. Clark was selected first overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA draft and quickly made her mark, becoming the first rookie to achieve a triple-double in the league.

Caitlin Clark is the face of women's basketball and a star for the Indiana Fever. Clark was selected with the top pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Clark drew record crowds and audiences on TV as a scoring machine in college for the Iowa Hawkeyes. She was a three-time unanimous first-team All-American and two-time National Player of the Year. She left Iowa City as the NCAA Division 1 all-time leading scorer. In addition to the personal records and accolades, Clark also guided the Hawkeyes to back-to-back national championship games as a junior and senior. After an All-American prep career in Iowa, Clark joined the program in 2021 and set a freshman record with 26.6 points per game while also leading all of Division 1 in scoring. She was a first-team All-Big 10 pick, a second-team All-American and shared national Freshman of the Year honors.
